Erin and Ken | Cincinnati Wedding

Erin and Ken were married at the Savannah Center in West Chester on June 25, 2011.
It was a gorgeous day and Steve captured some images with a great mood to them.

Congratulations again, Erin and Ken!

Christine and Steven | Cincinnati Wedding

It was a rainy day in June that Christine and Steven were married. The weather didn’t keep them from having a beautiful wedding, though! Let’s take a look. :)

Ceremony: Grace Lutheran Church

I love the detail of Christine’s dress! She wore such a beautiful gown.

A great option for rainy day portraits is to shoot inside The Westin downtown in Cincinnati. Christine and Steven went there for some solo and group portraits before the wedding.

Christine’s bouquet was absolutely beautiful! I love the lace and pearl details and the color scheme she chose.

Steve captured some great moments between Christine and her parents before the ceremony (and a great shot of Christine and her father at the reception later in this post)!

Congratulations, Christine and Steven! Your day was so apparently full of love and support and we’re glad to have been apart of it. Best wishes to you in your first year of marriage! :)

Jennifer and Stephen | A Halloween Inspired Cincinnati Wedding Part 2

Yesterday we posted part one of Jennifer and Stephen’s Halloween weekend wedding. Today we’re ready to look at the rest of their wedding day! After the ceremony and first reception, Steve photographed some great fall portraits of the couple.

Is she not absolutely gorgeous?

I love how they made use of the autumn environment and Halloween details in their portraits. That’s a great way to add a personal, seasonal touch to your wedding photos- incorporate what’s unique to the season of your wedding day.

These two are such a great couple! They weren’t afraid to have fun and take risks for their photos. Not every bride would be willing to get in the leaves like Jennifer did, but I think it paid off and they had a lot of fun during their portrait time. :)

After the portraits, it was time for the Halloween reception! There were so many great details! Centerpieces included bowls of trick-or-treat sized candies amongst candles on black striped table coverings, and there were little spooky decorations everywhere. All the guests were in costume for this part of the night, including Jennifer and Stephen, which definitely added an extra element of Halloween fun to the night!

No tricks, just treats! The candy bar was set up with festive little treat bags and fun size candies for the guests to enjoy.

Adding spooky lighting details, like the orange glowing eyes below created a little more spookiness to the night.

Everyone looked great in their costumes! What a fun idea!

I love that Jennifer was still in a fabulous dress for the second reception. Stephen’s fangs were a nice touch to his vampire costume.

Happy one year anniversary, Jennifer and Stephen! We hope you’ve had a wonderful year as husband and wife. Thank you for letting us be apart of your special day! :)

Jennifer and Stephen | A Halloween Inspired Cincinnati Wedding Part 1

I love a beautifully put together, creative wedding. Jennifer and Stephen planned just that– a sweet, romantic wedding ceremony and formal reception with hints of Halloween and autumn, followed by a more spooky Halloween inspired party-reception. They were married last October 30 at the Manor House and we have so many great photos to share, we had to split them into two parts. Today we’re going to look at the ceremony and a few portraits. :)

Her bouquet was beautiful! I love the soft pink colors. They work well with her choice of dress and veil to tie that soft, feminine romance together.

I love this photo! It looks like it belongs with a fairytale. :)

Jennifer and Stephen’s ceremony was full of emotion. Steve did such a great job of capturing the whole spectrum of emotions present that day.  Love this sweet moment with her father before walking down the aisle.

The first part of their reception kept with their romantic, soft theme. The color palette featured the same powdery pinks, whites and accents of green that we saw with her bouquet. The details were all lovely and fit the feeling of their ceremony perfectly.

Stay tuned for part two of Jennifer and Stephen’s wedding, featuring the Halloween reception, spooky details and even more great portraits!

Rhiana and Alexander | Cincinnati Wedding

Rhiana and Alexander were married on June 11, 2011. Their wedding day was beautiful and full of friends, family and love. Thank you to the vendors who made this day possible!

Ceremony: Bethlehem Baptist Church |  Reception: Clovernook Country Club

Walking in as separate souls, walking out united as one. I always love seeing the recessional photos- it’s such a triumphant, joyful moment of the day!

Steve made great use of the Cincinnati skyline for this shot. I love how much character it has. (Another image that would look great as a metal print!)

Rhiana’s eyes are stunning! I especially love them in the next photo. Such a unique perspective for a portrait and it gives those eyes a chance to really shine.

Congratulations, Rhiana and Alexander! We wish you the best in your marriage! :)
